The Black Trolley Mystery
Upon departure we got a heavy black plastic trolley we had to take along to DreamHack for delivery on the Intel Extreme Masters booth. We felt a bit reluctant to do it, but as it was a dedicated mission imposed upon us by our father nerd Uli, so we did it. It’s now safely delivered. Now we eagerly await what’s in there. Uli, nerd 4, is arriving tomorrow morning straight from Berlin with a bus. Content of the trolley to be revealed soon.

DreamHack Mutation.
Holly will over the course of the next days try to help out as a a standin when the Alienware demo boy is on his lunch break. We did a little dry run this afternoon of the costume.

We noticed the Intel Core i7 energy drink did have a big impact.

Nerd-FM goes 802.11g
Can we live without a decent wireless network? No we can’t! Hence we set up our own first ever fully encrypted 802.11g www.nerd-fm.com network at DreamHack.

Place to (Hall) B(e)
Great start of the day. Battery of our yellow VW kind of died over night on the parking lot. Pushed it up hill first so it could get some speed going downhill. Luckily, turned out to be the magic formula to get the thing up and especially .. running .. again. We even made it till the Elmia Hall B parking lot.

Once inside, got the first looks into our main habitat the coming days. Hall B. Countdown has started.

Of course, the one and only Intel’s Thomas Melzer already got spotted in the Over Clocking area.
