Father nerd has arrived!
After finishing his job in Berlin Uli started his long trip to Dreamhack via a regular bus. What a pro in terms of costs efficiency. 15 hours in a full packed bus with his knees under the skin, snoring people and a full size check at the Swedish border, Uli arrived happy and healthy at a bus stop outside of Jönköping. Basti’s driving skills seem to decrease as it took him two hours to get there. Anyway… father nerd is here to take care of his sheeps.
6 Wheels & 138 Eyes
A nerdy question to answer. What has 6 wheels and 138 eyes?

It’s the Intel Pack4DreamHack touring bus with 67 Benelux gamers and 2 drivers.

This 5th ‘Celebration’ edition we have a cool gaming crowd on board : RodCad gaming, the Belgian CS team that won the first ever Benelux DreamHack Qualifiers in Amsterdam on Oct 17th, reporters from GameLux.nl, BeScene.be, KaoS and H2K-Gaming.eu, Stefan from DUH-events and 55 casual gamers from Belgium and the Netherlands who all signed up to make their dream happen … attend DreamHack live.

All are guided by Rob, the Dutch gamer who got to DreamHack on the very first edition of Intel Pack4DreamHack in 2007. It’s the blond nerd on the left.

Halls Filling Up
Just a few hours before the official kick off, but the crowd is allowed to come in and settle down. Nerd mania has officially started.

Take Your Seat
DreamHack to officially start today. This is what it looked like yesterday. We don’t think IKEA is sponsoring the furniture, at least we could not find it in their 09 catalogue.
