You run around through the halls, seeing shirts you recognize

Then you want to be sure and you pass them.

Yes we do know these Dutch folks. So we take a closer look at their food.

Jimmy In The House
Jimmy dropped by on the booth. A bit exhausted but we think he has a very cool way of holding his laptop. KIDS DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME (or anywhere else by the way).

The man from Iceland
Eythor, one of the 4 finalists of the Intel Extreme Masters GameOn Country Cup Nordics arrived from Iceland. Uli catched him and his friends for a first lesson on Intel ‘s SSD technology.

At 21:00, Eythor will compete in Quake Live versus one more player from Iceland and one from Sweden to find out who will represent Nordics in the next round versus the Country Cup winners in 9 other European countries. The competition will take place in the DreamArena Extreme so we got Eythor mentally up to speed.

272 seconds of Intel Pack4DreamHack
Bas from KaoS uploaded a great movie on the first day of the Intel Pack4DreamHack trip. From departure in the Netherlands upon arrival at DreamHack Winter 2009.
Four minutes and 32 seconds (4×60 sec+32 sec=276 seconds) giving you a great insight into this adventure. In Dutch, but if you don’t understand Dutch, guess what you can learn it online.
Simply cick on one of the pics below. But of course come back later on.
Movie number 2 in the works. Looking at the movie crew today, should be a nice one.

Gravity? Yes, it exists!
We know DIRT2 is a hell of a game, but it seems that gamers start to struggle with fighting the power of gravity.

Every planetary body (including the Earth) is surrounded by its own gravitational field, which exerts an attractive force on all objects. Assuming a spherically symmetrical planet (a reasonable approximation), the strength of this field at any given point is proportional to the planetary body’s mass and inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the center of the body. The strength of the gravitational field is numerically equal to the acceleration of objects under its influence, and its value at the Earth’s surface, denoted g, is approximately expressed below as the standard average : g = 9.81 m/s2 = 32.2 ft/s2
15:30 Darkness Has Arrived
Short days over here in Jönköping, that’s for sure. It’s 15:30 and night has fallen upon us.

Local TV station with its helicopter keeps track of nerd movements.

Inside Hall B at the IEM booth, the first hand out of the new Nerd-FM stickers is a spot on activity dragging all fans together.
